Vintage Raggedy Ann and Andy banks from the 1970's. These banks are plastic, with yarn hair, felt outfits and ribbon for the bows. They stand 9 1/2" tall, 5 1/2"-6" wide and 2 1/2"-3" wide. They both have a slot on their back for the coins to go in. The foot of each are marked: "Royalty Ind of FLA inc. 1974. The other foot has a silver sticker that reads: "Creative vinyl products Royalty Industries Inc. made in the U.S.A. Miami, Florida 33010". The back of each of their neck is also marked and reads: "Royalty Ind. of FLA. Inc. 1974". There is a tag around the neck of the Raggedy Ann that reads: "National Central Bank".
Overall, these doll banks are in great condition. I did an overall cleaning, but they could use some detail cleaning. The eye of Raggedy Ann does have a dark spot on it and her leg has some black paint spots that look like they were from manufacturing (see photos). The Raggedy Andy has some coins inside but the Ann does not.
This pair would make a wonderful and unique gift for a birthday or baby shower. These would also be a wonderful addition to any collection.
