Invisible and among us Drawings
Born in Perpignan, Sainte-Luce Jérôme studied Applied Arts at Rivières Des Pères, then Fine Arts from 1999 to 2002, After some experiences in Spain and then in Ardèche.
Since 2017, in particular with the series “Lespwineg” , Sainte-Luce Jérôme has been developing visual research, exploring Native American culture, a unifying element of the history and heritage of the Caribbean area.
Indeed, "haunted" by the loss of memory, the artist tirelessly bypasses the Amerindian petroglyphs and poses the question of " the other state " after the death of man, and therefore the question of the trace left ... which survives in spite of everything, after the extinction of an entire civilization.
