Handmade Kitchenware – Ceramic Jars
A ceramic rustic receptacle for coarse salt that is wonderfully suitable for use both at the cooking range and on the counter.
The diameter of the opening is perfect for using the salt with either a teaspoon or your fingers. The cover is a perfect match (but it is not sealed hermetically).
The label on this pottery canister reveals its contents and glaze covers the interior of both the receptacle and its cover...I love the sound it makes when the cover is placed on this kitchen jar…
This rustic and elegant ceramic salt jar is made on the wheel from ochre groggy clay, glazed inside with my homemade semi-matte turquoise glazing, and fired in an electric kiln at 1200C.
Receptacles are available in various sizes and may be ordered with or without a label or with a different label, as desired.
Diameter: 4.7" (12 cm)
Height: 3.9" (10 cm)
Volume: 18.6 oz (550 ml)

* My work is infused with love. The design of the dish is influenced by its use while maintaining the high quality of the materials.
* Feel free to ask me questions about the product and to request it in any dimensions you wish. I will be happy to comply with your requests, if possible.
* I make it a point to use safe and environmentally friendly packing materials. I will do my best to ship your order as soon as possible.
MADE TO ORDER items take about 2-3 weeks to create. If you would like to know if your piece is on the list for the next round of pots please feel free to contact me.
Since it will be made fresh and new there may be slight variations from the one in the photos. I'm a one-woman show and I really appreciate your patience and understanding that handmade ceramics take time.
I thank you so much for supporting me and choosing my handmade ceramics to be part of your life.
