Dyrlaga began her artistic career in 2010 just before completing her degree in Art, Design, and Curation from Leeds Metropolitan University.

Whether she creates bubbles that rise from flowers or an extensive design featuring a squirrel snacking on an acorn, the delicate nature of her work makes for an incredible first impression.

Each Piece She Creates Leads to the Next

Dyrlaga says that there is not a vivid plan for her work from her Yorkshire studio.

She says that her ideas tend to flow from her current project or the environment around her.

Most pieces lead to the next one she will create, with much of her inspiration coming from the outdoors.

Her most recent work features painted paper items following her unique cutting style to add another depth of dimension to her work.

A blue jay that she recently sculpted came hand-cut from Awagami Factory 36gsm paper and then was given its color through the added acrylics.

Dyrlaga says that it is the simplicity of a blank piece of paper that fascinates her.

Each design is first drawn by hand, and then she uses a scalpel to cut each one out.

Every design represents hours of passion.
